So today I received an email about people who are actually interested in our wedding which has been touted as a "Hello Kitty" wedding. Although it may sound a little ridiculous, it was what I wanted for our wedding ... but also for it not to be overdone.

I searched on the web and noticed one posting from someone thinking our wedding wasn't hello kitty "enough"... in a way, I feel kind of sad about someone making fun of our wedding but in another way, i don't really care either. There was more I could've done to make the wedding more outlandish with more Hello Kitty but it wasn't in our budget nor did I want to make our wedding tacky.
My husband has already been understanding enough to let me do what I wanted with our wedding ceremony but it was all his idea to design a ring for me with a platinum band and hello kitty face. Maybe one day I will post a picture.
He gave me an idea to use my blog as a place to talk about my obsession with Hello Kitty so I thought I'd start with this today.
